Kyoto Guidebook

There are many Kyoto-related guidebooks that introduce which are Kyoto's nice and beautiful places. But most of the books don't tell you how you can go to Kyoto from the airport and how you move around in Kyoto in details and without problems. They just say to ride on a bus or train. If you are a frequent visitor and you are familiar with the system here, it's a no problem. But if you visit here for the first time, you may have difficulties. Especially when you visit the country where they speak different language, you feel nervous.
Unfortunately most of the Japanese cannot speak English fluently. So even if you ask someone, you may not get clear answers.
I often go abroad, feel in the same way, and have difficulties to find such really needed information.
In this book, I focus on how you taravel in Kyoto. Based on my experiences and from a view of native Kyoto resident, I pick up the points that first-time travelers really want to know, and put them in this book. I'm sure this KYOTO Guidebook will be very helpful for your first travel to Kyoto.

Welcome to Kyoto-Travel.com! My name is Yasu. I was born in Kyoto in 1970 and am a native Kyoto resident. Now I live with my mother, wife, one sun, and one daughter near TOJI temple. This time, I wrote this Kyoto Guidebook to support foreign tourists to Kyoto. I hope that this guidebook will be helpful and you have a happy trip in Kyoto!

There are listings and descriptions for different levels of hotels and restaurants in Kyoto, and general travel tips.
